NEWS: I Like Trains stream new track ‘Bethesda’ from upcoming documentary ‘A Divorce Before Marriage’

It’s been four years since Leeds band I Like Trains shared new music, but with an upcoming documentary film on the band being released imminently, they’re streaming a new track from its soundtrack.  ‘Bethesda’ is taken from A Divorce Before Marriage, and was recorded in just two intense days of production.  For the soundtrack, the band wanted to try and exercise restraint, working a lot with skeletal piano melodies and unsettling atmospheres.  For the most part ‘Bethesda’ delivers on that promise, staying quiet and intimate before eventually bursting into waves of somewhat melancholy guitars.  Listen below.

Details on confirmed film screenings for A Divorce Before Marriage are below.

1st October – Duke of York, Brighton
7th-16th October – Warsaw Film Festival

I Like Trains are also headlining High and Lonesome Festival in Leeds on 19th November.  The soundtrack for A Divorce Before Marriage is released on 2nd December, but is available to pre-order now from the band’s Bandcamp page.
