NEWS: Allo Darlin’ announce additional farewell dates

After eight years and three records, indie-pop group Allo Darlin’ decided to call it a day last month.  The band released their last album, We Come From the Same Place, in 2014.  To celebrate their career and thank their fans one last time, they announced that they’d be playing a special farewell show at London’s Scala.  At the time they said: “It is hard to find the words to describe exactly how much fun it has been to be in Allo Darlin’, and what a privilege it has been to make records and play shows from Brisbane to Bern, Boston to Bristol.  We feel extremely fortunate that we came along at a time where it was possible for a DIY bunch like us to make records and play shows without an enormous advertising budget or a proven business plan.”

After being inundated with requests after their Scala show sold out, the band have decided to play two additional shows at the Moth Club in London on 10th December, one at 2pm and another at 7pm.  The band said: “We were so overwhelmed by the response to our final show at the Scala that we felt we should try and accommodate those who weren’t able to get a ticket.  So we are very happy to say that we will playing two extra shows on Saturday 10th December at MOTH club in London.  The first show will be an all-ages matinee, followed up by an 16+ show later on in the evening.  We hope that everyone who missed out on Sunday tickets will be able to make it to one of these shows!

Tickets for both shows are on sale now.
