NEWS: Haҫienda Classical documentary to air on Channel 4

Earlier this year, a series of Haҫienda Classical gigs saw the hits of the legendary Manchester nightclub given a classic spin.  Channel 4 followed the production process from first rehearsal to debut gigs and finally to a show at the Royal Albert Hall and the recording of the studio album.  The channel have now put together a one hour documentary which will screen on Thursday 20th October, and be available on All4 from after the initial transmission.

The documentary will feature Peter Hook, Mike Pickering, Graeme Park, Rowetta and more alongside the Manchester Camerata Orchestra.  There will be unseen footage from the gigs as well as interviews and behind the scenes access.  Highlights from the full album version of the live show – including reworkings of ‘Good Life,’ ‘Ride on Time’ and ‘Pacific State’ – will be heard for the first time on the show.

The Haҫienda Classical album will be released on 21st October and is available to pre-order now.  The documentary will air on Channel 4 on 20th October.  See a clip of ‘Blue Monday’ below.
