Hope & Social have commissioned nine different directors to make promo videos for each track on their new album Feel, and with this one, they have well and truly struck the motherlode. Let’s face it, when you have 100+ emails in your inbox and one of them is headed “Neon kitty rides origami swan and collects gold coins,” the other emails pale into insignificance.
As an added bonus, the Leeds six piece’s new single is an irresistible slab of intelligent pop that lies somewhere between iForward, Russia!, Reverend And The Makers and the E Street Band. An odd, perhaps even dubious mix, but it works beautifully, and Patrick Rowan’s Sonic The Hedgehog based video is the perfect accompaniment.
