NEWS: Public Service Broadcasting announce UK Tour in support of new LP ‘Every Valley’

Public Service Broadcasting have announced details of a major UK tour in October in support of new album, Every Valley (7 July). Stopping in twelve cities – including their biggest headline to date at London’s Eventim Apollo, plus a selection of some of the best live rooms across the country – the tour will be the first chance for fans across the UK to experience the band’s new album. Full dates are listed below.

A record dedicated to shining a light on the disenfranchised, Every Valley is set against a backdrop of industrial decline and neglected and abandoned communities across the western world, focusing on the history of the mining community in South Wales. Fittingly, the tour kicks off at Cardiff’s Great Hall on 13 October, where the band will be looking forward to playing in front of the city’s notoriously passionate and knowledgeable fans. Listen to the lead single Progress here.

Resident set design guru and all-round visual mastermind, Mr. B, will reveal a brand-new stage design for the tour, after the band retired their much-loved mechanised tribute to Sputnik to a packed Usher Hall as part of Edinburgh’s International Science Festival on 12 April.

Tickets for the tour are on sale from 9am on Friday 21 April.

Speaking about the prospect of touring the new release J. Willgoose, Esq. explains:

“The best part of any album release is getting the chance to play it live in front of an audience. We can’t wait to share this record with people and get out there and play the new material later this year”.
