Norwegian duo Misty Coast (comprised of Megaphonic Thrift members Linn Frøkedal and Richard Myklebust), are set to release their new single ‘Trash Talk Smile’ on August 22nd via ClubAC30. The track is the third single to be taken for the band’s forthcoming self-titled album due for release this September.
Short, understated and beautiful. Reminiscent of the effortless melancholia of Mazzy Star and the more downtempo moments of The Chromatics. Frøkedal’s haunted reverb drenched vocals are sewn effortlessly through the ether, as flange-heavy guitars and a clipping beat mingle forging a hazy interlude for reflection amidst the hustle, bustle and chatter of city life.
The band will be hitting the road in November in support of Amusement Parks On Fire.
