Green Man Rising - The Final - Tonight at The Lexington

Green Man Rising – The Final – Tonight at The Lexington

Tonight The Lexington plays host to the final of the Green Man Rising competition. Five bands will be after a place at the Green Man Festival in Wales in August.

A few weeks ago we had the long list here in God Is In The TV Towers to whittle down to our four for the final and three of our choices have made it to the battle of the band style contest. Tickets are free through Dice but are in short supply.

In a friendly fight we have, Jerry, Peaness, PVA, Rosehip Teahouse and Wych Elm hoping to win the chance to open the Mountain Stage at this years main event and film a live video whilst they’re there. The runners up will be invited to play the Rising Stage.

The main event is completely sold out with incredible artists including Father John Misty, Four Tet, Eels, Stereolab, Sharon Van Etten, Idles, Aldous Harding, Car Seat Headrest and many, many more.

We’ll be there tonight and we’ll be there in August in the beautiful Brecon Beacons.
