Where: Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, Wales.

Big Thief, Sampha, Jon Hopkins, and Sleaford Mods will headline this year’s Green Man Festival. Having sold out all the tickets for this year’s event in record time last September, this incredibly exciting news has just been announced earlier on today.

Joining them on the bill will be The Jesus and Mary Chain, Ezra Collective, Arlo Parks, Blonde Redhead, Julia Holter, Moonchild Sanelly, Blondshell, Wednesday, Bar Italia, SHERELLE, Nabihah Iqbal, Lambrini Girls, and many more fantastic acts besides.

Green Man is a hub for showcasing some of the best emerging names in Welsh music, and this year sees the likes of The Tubs, Islet, Cerys Hafana, Das Koolies, Cowbois Rhos Botwnnog, Georgia Ruth, Pys Melyn, and Slate all playing.

This will be the 22nd annual edition of what is Wales’ largest music, science, and arts festival. Set in the breathtaking surroundings of the country’s Black Mountains deep in the heart of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, Green Man comprises 10 individual areas. The festival also offers a diverse range of events to accompany its incredible line-up, including art installations spread throughout the tranquil valley, a beer and cider tent, a Shapes-themed area of discovery and exploration for younger children, a relaxation and workshop space for the teenagers, plus the wonderful science engagement area, Einstein’s Garden.

Green Man is one of the four remaining large independent festivals in the UK. It generates £10 million into the Welsh economy and is the only large UK festival where a woman has controlling ownership. It was awarded a Gold Charter by Attitude is Everything, a charity that improves accessibility for people with disabilities across the events industry.
