Wales Goes Pop! has announced its 2020 line up including avant garde rock band Field Music, Welsh popsters The Darling Buds and Brighton indie bands Our Girl and Penelope Isles.
Also performing at the all-ages festival are punk trio Big Joanie, who describe themselves as The Ronettes filtered through 80s DIY and riot grrrl with a sprinkling of dashikis. They’re joined by French alt-pop artist Pi Ja Ma, Canadian musician RAE SPOON and folk power-pop songwriter Lavina Blackwall (also of Trembling Bells).
The event takes place across Friday 10th – Sunday 12th April at The Gate in Roath, Cardiff.
There is also a warm up show in The Moon on Thursday 9th April.
