NEWS: Sister. release emotive new single ‘Hideaway’ and announce new EP

Brooklyn’s Sister. have today released their new single ‘Hideaway’, the first track from their forthcoming second EP, ‘Something / Nothing’, which is due out September 10th via AWAL.

The band began as a songwriting project for Hannah Pruzinsky and Ceci Sturman, who met as college roommates at St. John’s University in Queens, bonding through poetry and a shared love of music. Guitarist James Chrisman joined them before the New York lockdown and their debut EP ‘Soft Spot’ was recorded together in quarantine and released last year.

The new single, ‘Hideaway’, is a slice of emotive beauty, with the sound swelling and captivating. Sister’s music offers intrigue and deep layers that utterly drew us in. We look forward to the forthcoming EP with anticipation.

Discussing the new single, Hannah Pruzinsky observed: “Hideaway is that space where someone can exist wholly.  That secret place where you can be without a guise, without fear, you can never reveal too much. It’s a desire for the safety that intimacy holds.”

‘Hideaway’ is out now via AWAL.
