NEWS: Wakefield festival Long Division announce more artists for 2022

The 11th annual edition of Long Division festival returns this year over the second weekend in June with the majority of activity taking place on Saturday the 11th. And the award-winning metropolitan festival and great champion of musical independence and DIY culture has just released details of more artists set to perform this year.

Artists announced today include Pictish Trail, Deep Tan, Rachel Sermanni, Low Hummer, Modern Woman, Bored At My Grandmas House and many more besides. They join previously announced acts Sea Power, Field Music, The Howl & The Hum, LIFE, W.H. Lung, LYR, The Clockworks and more.

Long Division have also announced that their annual opening night will be a very special In Conversation event with Poet Laureate and West Yorkshire’s own Simon Armitage. Ahead of his appearance with LYR on the Saturday, Armitage will be appearing at Wakefield Town Hall to discuss his iconic career as well as reading select works.
