NEWS: Afro-Swedish singer, Felish, releases new single ‘Can I Be Sad Too’

Felish is the Afro-Swedish singer breaking into new territories with her ambitious 80’s synth pop sound with her new single “Can I Be Sad Too”. Having started her musical career in 2013 and graduating from Los Angeles College of Music and receiving the LACM Linda Perry Scholarship, Felish has developed her sound into a futuristic indie-tropical electro style that continues to develop.

“Can I Be Sad Too” demonstrates its power as a pop song through its highly catchy chorus that lingers in your mind, alongside its fast and steady going drum beat and funky bass-lines. Speaking on the recording process for the new single, Felish writes “when I recorded the vocals for this song It made me feel so incredibly free in my own emotions ,this acceptance, the strength in being fragile ( cause it is fucking strong to stand by yourself in feelings that are not what everybody wants to see or hear!) and I hope that it will have that same effect on the people who hear it and hopefully start singing it too!!  Be how you want to be, and cry when you wanna, it will make when you laugh that more heartfelt, cause you let yourself have your own emotions -feel them through and let them go!”

Can I Be Sad Too by Felish is out now on all streaming platforms.
