East London’s newest talent tendai may only be 22, but he is already making his mark on the British music scene – releasing a string of stand-out singles, garnering praise from the likes of The Guardian, Dazed, Crack, and Clash, and currently working alongside Stormzy in the studio producing his upcoming album This is What I Mean.
Tendai announced the release of his fifth single ‘Time In Our Lives‘ on 2nd November. Written and co-produced (with AOD) by tendai himself, the single arrives with a mesmerizing visual. Co-directed by Ethan and Tom, the video concept, created by tendai, centers around a performance which is being captured in various ways – photography, video, sound, and memory. A moment in time that lasts forever. Perhaps most notable is tendai’s red robe – an item of clothing steeped in family history – worn by his mother whilst pregnant with both tendai and his sister..
