Towersey Festival, the United Kingdom’s longest running independent family festival of music, comedy, ceilidh, crafts, and family fun, launches the Towersey Advent Calendar today to reveal their gift of 24 great new acts and happenings each and every day right up to Christmas.

And the very first door to be opened on the Towersey Advent Calendar reveals the name of The Divine Comedy, the band from Northern Ireland fronted by the irrepressible Neil Hannon who have been now been making the most interesting, literate pop music for more than 30 years.

This will be followed by a daily reveal in the advent calendar on Towersey’s social media platforms of further acts and attractions running right up to Christmas, culminating on December 24th, Christmas Eve.
