NEWS: CASISDEAD and Warmduscher announced for Celebrate This Place in Cardiff

Celebrate This Place returns to Cardiff for its second iteration in 2024. Taking place on May 25th & 26th for the Bank Holiday Weekend, following a sold out event in 2023. The two day festival will take place at Tramshed Cardiff, a 1,000 capacity venue located in the City Centre.

Headlining day one of the festival is the enigmatic masked Rap artist CASISDEAD, who is currently nominated for a BRIT award for Best Hip-hop/grime/rap act, and who’s highly anticipated debut album Famous Last Words which came out in 2023 charted 7th on the UK Official Album Charts.

Headlining day two of the festival are Warmduscher, party-starters with a penchant for punk-funk dance grooves and witty, dirty lyrics. The London based band have worked with the likes of Iggy Pop and Soulwax, and were hailed by BBC 6 Music DJ Marc Riley as the “best band on the planet.”

Celebrate This Place is brought to you by the team at Clwb Ifor Bach, that also organise the city’s annual multi-venue showcase festival ‘Sŵn’.

This will be the festivals second year running, following on from the success of last years sell-out event that took place at Clwb Ifor Bach and Tramshed Cardiff. The 2023 edition hosted international names such as Australian psychedelic rock outfit Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and Canadian post-punks COLA, as well as spotlighting Welsh artists Islet, Slate, and Plastic Estate.
