Polarsets – Morning (Moda Records)

Polarsets

Find yourself liking Two Door Cinema Club, Fenech Soler or Everything Everything? So do I! Check out Polarsets, who have previously supported the afore-mentioned bands. New single release, ‘Morning’ is backed with a B-side entitled ‘Sunset’: I really like that both tracks are named after different times of the day. Which do you prefer?
Morning
This track definitely contradicts everyone’s usual expectation of the start of the day -especially a Monday one: lifeless, tiring, hateful. Paradoxically, the track is filled with a lot spirit that will blow away the Monday blues. Listening to ‘Morning’ is healthier than caffeine and better for your ears!
Sunset
For some reason, this track is reminiscent of Real Fur (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Real-Fur/). Maybe it’s the drums and/or the composition -either way I am not sure which it is. Alternatively, ‘Sunset’ depicts the scenery that one would see during dawn, underscoring the song with vibrant melodies.

The single is now available in the form of a 7” vinyl and will be available digitally on 19th September. It is released via Neon Gold & Moda Records.
