Shearwater set course for EU in 2012 & Stream new track ‘Breaking the Yearlings’

With their new album Animal Joy due to hit the stands on 27 February via Sub Pop, Shearwater are offering a sneak-peak into their new, edgier direction with new track “Breaking the Yearlings”, which was premiered on SPIN.com yesterday but you can now stream below. They’re also embarking on a mammoth tour, which includes dates in the States with the hotly tipped Sharon Van Etten and an EU headline tour in March/April with four UK dates in Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow and London (see full tour details below).
