Summer’s nearly here, Ibiza’s open for business and we’re on the cusp of Swedish House Mafia’s biggest season to date. After debuting their mind blowing new live show at Coachella (off the back of a headline show at Madison Square Garden in December last year which sold out in an unbelievable 9 minutes), Swedish House Mafia returns to the UK for their much-anticipated headline performance at the legendary Milton Keynes National Bowl on July 14. After this week’s Jubilee celebrations, the boys are very proud to announce that Example will be added to this very British event. Just a week, a phenomenal 46,000 tickets already sold for what is going to be THE dancefloor of the summer.
Swedish House Mafia have eincredible success in the UK over the last few years – signed by British institution EMI back in 2010 followed shortly by two sell-out headline Brixton Academy shows, then a UK Tour last year which sold out in a matter of minutes including playing to 20,000 people over two nights at Alexandra Palace.
A Gold selling album and five Top 10 singles later, SHM are ecstatic to be returning to UK soil this summer to headline this gargantuan 9 hour summer clubbing experience in one of the world’s most legendary venues. Swedish House Mafia will join an enviable list of music legends who have headlined the National Bowl including Oasis, Green Day, Metallica, Eminem and Foo Fighters.
Aside from Example, joining the Swedes at Milton Keynes Bowl will be DJ producer of the moment Calvin Harris and 17 year old pop/house producer Madeon plus legendary DJ Pete Tong and fellow Swede Alesso.
Tickets for the event are priced at £45 plus booking fee. There is also the opportunity to purchase the full VIP Swedes experience for £199 (inc. VAT & booking fee) where fans will have access to an exclusive VIP compound with private catering and bar, drink tokens for food and drink and access to the aftershow party where DJ’s will play until 2am.
Fans who have already brought a ticket are able to upgrade for £155 (inc VAT).
