Voltaire Twins get their video banned – so see it here

voltaireVoltaire Twins are from Perth Australia. There’s four of them in the band and not all of them could be twins (of course – doh) but Tegan and Jaymes really are, while Jack & Matt are just cool guys. They play sheeny, whip-drum, dreamy-voiced pop music with utter conviction, and with an edge – the twinkle in Tegan’s eyes as she intones “I’m a doctor you can trust me” suggests that in fact we really should not. They’re really nice, clean cut kids as we found out hanging out with them after a gig a few months back. Which makes it hilarious that when they decided to have some partially naked people in the video for new single ‘Solaris’, YouTube promptly banned it, presumably on account of the odd flash of boob. So enjoy it on the more enlightened Vimeo instead. If you like what you hear, head to their website, and grab the previous single as a free download.

Do I have to say it? (slightly) NSFW
