E.p – For One More Night

Normally I’m a bit of a sucker for a slow, meaningful song with beautiful lyrics, tinkling piano keys and to finish it off a well-played acoustic/electric guitar.

Give me all of those things either live or on a CD and I’m happy.

All of the elements are there in this E.P. All begging for my attention but I’m afraid I just can’t get into it. Something is stopping me enjoying it but I can’t put my finger on it.
I can see were Arthur is coming from though, taking a new musical route. Its good to have different genres under your belt don’t get me wrong, I just don’t get that same feeling I get when listening to other artists out there doing the same thing.

Yes the lyrics are deep and meaningful, but then again isn’t all music of this genre?
Taken from past experiences/relationships from Arthur’s life, which fit in well with todays emo/pop filled music scene. If it can pull on people’s heartstrings or give them something they can relate to, you’ve got a winner.

For One More Night is extremely well made with a lot of time and effort being put into it.
Arthur Walwin is a very talented individual with a very talented band. He’s not afraid to try new things and run with them. Arthur knows his limits.
I don’t think he would/has produced something that he isn’t proud of. It might not be to everyone’s liking but you can’t please everyone all of the time.
