Green Man is the leading contemporary music and arts event in Wales and the UK’s go- to festival for new and emerging musical talent. Refreshingly independent with a decade-long tradition of championing good sounds, good times and good causes, Green Man really is a uniquely magical experience. This family friendly four-day celebration is sculpted by its surroundings and steeped in mystical folklore; nothing is ever as it seems among the ancient oak trees of Glanusk Park, at the beating heart of the breathtaking Black Mountains. Experience iconic live performances in the grassed amphitheatre of the Mountain’s Foot, go Far Out After Dark with the UK’s only 24-hour festival licence, watch the sunrise by the dusk till dawn bonfire, and get up close and personal with your favourite bands in the Walled Garden. Enjoy the best in stand-up comedy and spoken word at Babbling Tongues, see science and nature collide in Einstein’s Garden, or stray far from the madding crowd in the idyllic Fortune Falls. Savour gourmet food stalls, lip-smacking real ales, wicked local ciders and loads of gorgeous areas to sit back and enjoy the brilliant festival vibe. Banish boredom with over 150 activities for children and a new separate area for teenagers. Why not make a week of it with our seven-day Holiday Ticket combining a holiday in Wales with the festival. With 9 stages, 10 entertainment areas in beautiful lush Welsh countryside and 1500 performers there is something for everyone at Green Man.
