Location: Isle of Eigg, Scotland

What do Django Django, Steve Mason, Beth Orton, Jon Hopkins, Jens Lekman, Nathan Fake, Alexis Taylor, Twilight Sad, Luke Abbott, Cate Le Bon, Kan, Sweet Baboo, Euros Childs, François & The Atlas Mountains, Daimh and Kathryn Joseph have in common? The answer is they’ve all taken part in events run by the Lost Map collective on the Hebridean Isle of Eigg.

And the best news is that Lost Map are at it again. The long two-year wait is coming to an end: July 2016 will see another Howlin’ Fling festival. The süper-secret (yes, it’s so cool and sexy that it has an umlaut!) line-up will be revealed at a later date. In the meantime Lost Map are promising wondrous things like chartered ferries to and from the island, stunning scenery, lovely brown booze and even lovelier company.

As this year’s event will be a more compact happening, tickets for Howlin’ Fling! 2016 will be very limited. Priced £110 each, they will go on sale at midday on Wednesday 10th February via lostmap.com. The price includes camping and ferry.

To give you some idea of what to expect, here is a video of Howlin’ Fling! 2014. Get ready for a big Scottish adventure!
