NEWS: C Duncan shares new video for ‘Wanted to Want It Too’

Glaswegian singer-songwriter and artist C Duncan is set to release his sophomore album The Midnight Sun on 7th October via FatCat Records.  The follow up to his Mercury Prize-nominated debut Architect been named after a 1961 episode of The Twilight Zone, in which Earth’s orbit has been perturbed, causing it to fall slowly into the sun.  When the LP was announced, he also shared ‘Wanted to Want It Too,’ a bittersweet number with all the sonic intricacies Duncan has become known for.

The new video for the single has been directed by Helen Plumb, and its murky black and white palette suits the song perfectly.  In the clip, a masked individual traverses tower blocks, car parks and other brutalist structures, eventually reaching a man and apparently (and literally) stealing his heart away.  It’s a haunting watch that helps set the tone for The Midnight Sun.  Watch below.
