NEWS: The Moonlandingz share new track ‘Black Hanz’

The Moonlandingz – the semi-fictional psych pop group made up of Adrian Flanagan, Dean Honer Fat White Family’s Lias Saoudi and guitarist Saul Adamczewski – are set to release their EP Black Hanz on 30th December.  According to the band, “BLACK HANZ is a celebration of the Outsider, the socially inept, the so-called village weirdo and a curse on the shriveled genitals of those regressive little Englanders that won’t let us move forward, to be ourselves.”

In the lead up to the EP’s release, the band have shared the title track of the collection.  Frontman Johnny Rocket, the alter ego of Saoudi said of the single: “Our ode to the odious little England hegemony we have suddenly found ourselves sinking into, ‘Black Hanz’ represents the soundings off of one Johnny Rocket, dutiful masochist and world ranking narcissist.  You can’t beat small mindedness into a man that revels in the fact that he is a shell of his future self, you cannot un-polish a turd!!”  Listen below.

The Moonlandingz will play at the Courtyard Theatre in London on 7th December.
