London four-piece Zola Blood have announced the details of their debut album, Infinite Games. The record will be released on May 26th by the Pond Life label.
In advance of the album, the band have shared their new single, ‘Nothing’, which, like the rest of the album was produced by the band with help from Oli Bayston (Boxed In) and Duncan Toothill (Little Cub).
The quartet describe the album as “more sophisticated” than their previous releases.
Infinite Games takes its title from the James P. Carse book, whose themes inform many of its lyrics. “It’s about living a freer life”, explains singer / instrumentalist Matt West, “and not necessarily buying into the idea that you should do stuff because you’re supposed to, like getting a career or being a model citizen or whatever”.
