NEWS: Caitlin Rose returns with first new album in 9 years

The highly revered Nashville singer/songwriter Caitlin Rose has today announced that her next album, CAZIMI will be released on 18th November this year via names. CAZIMI – the follow-up to The Stand-In which was released in March 2013 – was co-produced by Caitlin and Jordan Lehning. Along with the announcement, Caitlin Rose has shared a music video for the record’s debut single ‘Black Obsidian’.

Speaking of the track Caitlin says: “I think it’s common for people to fall into or back into difficult relationships after great personal setbacks. They can give you a kind of escape from yourself. It gives you this mostly impossible puzzle of trying to figure out what it is the other person is missing, what you could give them to make them whole, then depriving yourself of it in the process. It’s projection for the sake of purpose, loving someone knowing that they will always disappoint you. Because wouldn’t you want them to do the same?”

It is good to have her back!
