LA-based indie-rock singer-songwriter Sharon Van Etten latest album We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong was released in May. Van Etten is excited to announce a deluxe edition is due to be released on November 11th on Jagjaguwar. Compiling her standalone singles ‘Porta‘ and ‘Used To It‘ alongside two previously unreleased bonus tracks – ‘When I Die’ and ‘Never Gonna Change‘ – it is the most complete presentation of Van Etten’s 2022.
‘Never Gonna Change‘ was released on October 5th as a single with an accompanying lyric video. It “is about managing depression and anxiety in the midst of isolation,” Van Etten says. “Coping with recurring fears throughout adulthood, acknowledging that flaws, fears and triggers can’t be overcome, they are a constant part of one’s identity to learn to be at peace with.”
