NEWS: scott is okay releases new single ‘Waiting For My Turn To Speak’ in light of debut EP

London based singer-songwriter and producer, scott is okay, has released his new single ‘Waiting For My Turn To Speak’ taken from his forthcoming EP Realizing How To Act In Certain Instances. Released via Yada Yada, the single showcases his unique ability to blend a laid-back and lo-fi pop track with brief electronic experimental sounds.

With a warming intro and build-up, the song provides a warming and calming sound with beautiful harmonies and nostalgia filled electronic glitch sounds. Though one minute into the track, drums kick in to demonstrate a charismatic alternative indie track that’s highly unique. Speaking on the new release scott writes, “This EP really was a labor of love. I had no idea what I wanted to do after an already failed and unfinished attempt at an EP before this one. I pretty much finished writing and recording all the songs in a short period of time, but it was over a year of tinkering and refining things people probably wouldn’t even notice. It was a lesson in a way, to just trust my instinct when creating.”

Waiting For My Turn To Speak’ is out now on all streaming platforms.
