NEWS: first wave of artists announced for Red Rooster 2023

When: 1st – 3rd June 2023
Where: Euston Hall, Suffolk, England

Red Rooster Festival returns for its ninth edition next June in the spectacular surroundings of Euston Hall, with its 300 acres of historical private gardens and beautiful rolling parkland. And this annual celebration of Cajun, soul, rock’n’roll, blues, roots and country music has just announced the first acts who will appear at next year’s event.

The first names to be revealed for Red Rooster 2023 are Fantastic Negrito, the superb American singer-songwriter whose music spans blues, R&B, and roots music; his fellow American, the celebrated country singer-songwriter, Nikki Lane; and San Francisco’s Chuck Prophet and The Mission Express, who will be making their first appearance in this country in six years.

Joining them in Euston Hall next year will be New York City’s most enduring Rhythm & Blues street band Daddy Long Legs; from North Carolina, the six-piece garage-rock outfit, The Nude Party; and Jesse Malin, the highly revered American rock musician, guitarist, and songwriter.

GA-20, The Arlenes, King Salami and the Cumberland 3, and Us complete the impressive list of initial announcements.

As ever, Red Rooster will bring a taste of the Deep South to England complete with authentic street food, BBQs, kids entertainment, boating, and the much loved Howlin’ Woods DJs.

Red Rooster has consistently sold out the last four years and the 2023 event will no doubt follow suit. Red Rooster is proud to be one of the best value festivals out there at just £129.50 + Booking fee for the whole weekend.

This includes three nights of camping and parking FREE. Kids 12 and under go for free as always and organisers this year have also introduced a teen weekend ticket for just £50 + Booking fee.
