NEWS: Tony Njoku shares ‘Lost Forever’ single and announces tour dates

London-based avant-garde pop artist, Tony Njoku shares new single, ‘Lost Forever’ which is a masterwork of meditative improvisation; foregoing urgency for contemplation. As a spontaneous and instinctive piece of music it’s apt that it marks Njoku’s first foray into solo piano work.

Njoku says “I had this little refrain I kept on returning to whilst noodling on the piano. I loved the melody and began riffing off of it.” As an improvised piece of music, he adds “The original version was played much slower and went on for a good 18 to 20 minutes. With this version I just chopped up my favourite parts of the take and sped it up.”

Last year, Njoku released the EP Our New Bloom to wide critical acclaim, with praise for his psych and soul laced expansive electronics, falsetto croons and insightful lyrics Extending on the praise of his previous releases. This year, Njoku will be taking new music on tour- full dates below, with more to be announced.
