NEWS: Lost in the Hills Festival announce final line up

The picturesque landscape of the Peak District national park is set to come alive with original sounds and artistic expression as Lost in the Hills Festival takes centre stage from the 8-9 July. This unique event, presented by Creative Peaks and funded by the Arts Council, offers visitors an immersive experience that combines the beauty of nature, contemporary music, and the arts.

Nestled within the grounds of the historic Watts Russell Arms, a charming stone-built pub, Lost in the Hills has curated an impressive lineup of talented musicians and artists from various genres, including everyone’s favourite aquatic explorers of sound, Seas of Mirth, as well as performances that span multi-instrumental explorations, explosive psychedelic jazz electronica, Indo-Baroque meets alt-folk minimalism, electronic jazz breakbeats, and experimental compositions of urban and rural musical tapestries.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with their creative side through engaging workshops and participate in jam sessions. Craft stalls showcasing eco-conscious creations, as well as connections to local rewilding and tree-planting initiatives, demonstrate the festival’s commitment to the environment.

Both days of the festival will offer an array of culinary delights, with locally produced ales, ciders, and a delicious selection of vegan and vegetarian food options. And for those seeking a break from the constant connectivity of modern life, Lost in the Hills provides a mini digital detox, as the site lacks phone signal, allowing visitors to truly unwind and immerse themselves in the festival’s enchanting atmosphere.

You can find out more about the event and book tickets via the festival’s website.
