NEWS: Deer Shed Festival announces final wave of music bookings for 14th edition

Deer Shed Festival, the annual celebration of music, comedy, arts, science, theatre, and sport for people of all ages, has gone and done it again.  After January’s fabulous news of the second wave of artists who will appear on Deer Shed’s music line-up at this year’s event, the hugely popular family friendly festival has followed this up with yet another cracking list of acts who will be joining this already impressive bill.

The latest announcement, which completes Deer Shed’s music line-up for 2024, reveals the names of those experimental electronic pioneers of Kinshasa’s sonic revolution, KOKOKO!LYR, the trio of celebrated author and current British poet laureate Simon Armitage, singer-songwriter Richard Walters, and multi-instrumentalist and producer Patrick Pearson; brilliant Birmingham folk artist, Katherine Priddy; coming all the way from Togo in West Africa, the feminist quintet, Nana Benz Du Togo; international psych explorers, Flamingods; and further evidencing Deer Shed’s ongoing commitment to promoting local talent, fast rising Leeds’ band DEADLETTER.

They will be joining the previously announced Bombay Bicycle Club, The Coral, CMAT, BC Camplight, King Creosote, Jalen Ngonda, John Francis Flynn, The Go! Team, Los Bitchos, Stornoway, Fat Dog, Liz Lawrence, Bess Atwell, Personal Trainer, MadMadMad, Viji, Picture Parlour, Baba Ali, Home Counties, The Tubs, Frozemode, Blue Bendy, Tapir!, Cerys Hafana, Dominie HooperO., Trout, Brown Horse, Annie Dresser, Melin Melyn and Two Canoes.

Following Deer Shed’s earlier announcement of comedy headliner The Horne Section, the rest of the festival’s comedy line-up, plus shows, films, science, sports, workshops, wellbeing, and literary & spoken word will be revealed soon.
