Cardiff-based band SHLUG will release their debut EP Split The Grin and accompanying single ‘Grated Thumbs’, in May.
SHLUG are described as a “death-coaster” and create a dubious and violent sound scape through mechanical dissonances and distortions that will “make your eardrums shatter and bleed.” They create an industrial atmosphere, evoking primal instincts that will turn their crowd into a “pit of rabid dogs.”
After the success of releases ‘The Scent Of Roy Keane’ and ‘Self-Hate Portrait’, ‘BF/FM’ and ‘Baby Teef’, were released on iconic Cardiff venue Clwb Ifor Bach’s label, Clwb Music.
The single ‘Grated Thumbs’ will be released on 8th May 2024, with EP Split The Grin released on 15th May 2024.
