Vote for August’s Featured Act

anaxeAn Axe won the second round of our Featured Act competition, ploughing their way through their peers with alt-rock sea shanties and haunting post-punk. Previous to that was Mary Epworth, a one-woman explosion of 60s progressive music, whose debut album is expected this autumn. All of the accompanying articles can be found over here.

Now it’s time for you to choose our third successor; master of the arts, future prophet and all-round champion of everyone covered this side of July. The winning act will join An Axe at London’s Buffalo Bar on November 19th (schedule providing) – a one-off, GIITTV curated event design to introduce spectators to the best of 2011. They’ll also enjoy extensive coverage from this site.

To see your favourite succeed: vote by going to their Preaching From the Pews page (linked) and either retweet or ‘like’ their article! All votes will be counted on August 29th at midday, when the competition will close.
