Track Of The Day #481: Lorelle Meets The Obsolete – Sealed Scene

lorellsealed
A new single from the much adored around here Lorelle Meets The Obsolete who are currently on a short UK tour. Ripped from their current Chambers full length, ‘Sealed Scene’ is a wiring bastardised brew of glam gouged and butchered Sweet-esque mosaics force fed through a kaleidoscopic tumble dryer and then glued on to a growling psych blues sonic footing. Reminiscent of a youthful Black Angels and left to mainline on the fracturing grooved oblivion of a pre-Loveless My Bloody Valentine, which in short translates as the best four minutes of sky parting siren searing euphoria you’ll hear in a fair old while. Out on the esteemed Sonic Cathedral. Further persuasion required?  I think not.
