Bastille is the project of Dan Smith, a London based musician content on reviving the dance floor glitch Tom Vek started with his 2005 debut We Have Sound. Not relying on the past, Smith brings a shot of modernity to the table, using his velvetine vocals to great affect. The long and short of it is, this everything James Blake has threatened but ultimately failed to be.

The D.I.Y. video for his song “Flaws” caused a ruckus earlier on in the year, and Smith now plans to release the song through Young & Lost Club on July 4th. See the aforementioned video below!

God is in the TV is an online music and culture fanzine founded in Cardiff by the editor Bill Cummings in 2003. GIITTV Bill has developed the site with the aid of a team of sub-editors and writers from across Britain, covering a wide range of music from unsigned and independent artists to major releases.
