Belgium based, Dutch-born musician and songwriter Chantal Acda, recently released her album ‘The Sparkle In Our Flaw‘s an exhibition in pared back folk flecked song writing with exquisitely enveloping arrangements and haunted by her wonderful vocals which bare comparisons with This is Kit, Talk Talk and Low.
The long player features a line up of star musical collaborators one of those is multi-instrumentalist Peter Broderick (known for his solo work on labels such as Bella Union and Erased Tapes and from his work with Efterklang) and we have the premiere of a live rendition of the track ‘Games’ they performed together at Dominikanerkirche in Münster (DE). This show was part of the new « Reset Festival Series.
