NEWS: Xenia Rubinos announces one of her first UK dates

Brooklyn based neo-soul singer Xenia Rubinos will be making a rare live appearance in the UK this October as part of a small European tour. She will play at London’s Birthdays on 24th October before heading on to Germany for the Enjoy Jazz Festival and two other dates.

Rubinos recently released her sophomore album Black Terry Cat, a fusion of soul, punk, jazz and hip hop that has earned her comparisons to Erykah Badu. The follow up to her debut album Magic Trix also contains more forthright lyrics, frequently addressing issues of race, immigration and identity. Watch the video for ‘Lonely Lover’ below.

Tickets for Rubinos’ show at Birthdays are on sale now.
