Cult alt rock icons Dinosaur Jr will be releasing their brand new album Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not via Jagjaguwar on 5th August. The band played the first taste of the album, ‘Tiny,’ on Later… With Jools Holland earlier in the year, but now the slice of fuzz-rock also has a fun video.
The clip was directed by Laurie Collyer and features the band’s frontman J Mascis and his dog Beefy. They partake in a full day of activities, including skating together at the park. Watch below.
Collyer talked about the video: “Aside from music, J Mascis has other passions. Bulldogs and skateboarding among them. When a friend of mine told me there was such a thing as skateboarding bulldogs, I took it from there and came up with the idea for Tiny.” Collyer continued: “J’s dog, sleeping outside his rehearsal room dreams up the perfect day with J. He wants to skate without falling down or crashing. He wants to skate with J. He waits patiently outside the roller derby for J to finish his gig. The rest is history. Enjoy Tiny!”
