NEWS: Bridges release cathartic new single ‘Star Signs’

Bridges have announced the release of their new single, ‘Star Signs’. The song is the latest single from their forthcoming EP, Empty Galleries, due out on 16th October.

‘Star Signs’ is beautifully and sincerely emotive, underlining again how Bridges have such a striking ability to create music that stirs the soul and remains with you long after first listen. We await their forthcoming EP with deep anticipation.

Talking about the inspiration behind the song, Ethan Proctor from the band states: “Star signs is a big cathartic release. Recently a family member had cancer and it really shook me. I didn’t really know how to process it properly, and there is all the worry of the worst. It’s a disease that has affected all of our families so much as a band, and it was this moment of feeling lost that led to writing this song. The writing really helped me to process that time, certainly felt like I poured myself into the track. It’s an illness that is sadly all too common and can lead to heart breaking times. We hope that Star signs as a piece of music will help to rekindle some great memories of those we love”.

The band have also announced live dates to support the forthcoming EP at Rough Trade Bristol (16th October), Seabright Arms London (3rd November, SOLD OUT) and Aatma Manchester (6th November).
