NEWS: Stormzy returns with new track ‘Mel Made Me Do It’ accompanied by a groundbreaking, cameo-packed visual feast.

Kingpin of the UK Grime scene Stormzy is back. He was never going to announce his return quietly, and new track ‘Mel Made Me Do It’ with its epic accompanying 10-minute-long visual, is confirmation that he has lost none of his influence, flair and bravado in the two years plus he has been away.

The title of ‘Mel Made Me Do It‘ is a direct reference to the influence of his long-standing personal stylist Melissa’s Wardrobe, featuring a guest vocal appearance from Stylo G and a poignant monologue written by British lyricist Wretch 32, narrated by actress Michaela Cole of ‘I May Destroy You‘ fame.

It’s a powerful, searing track, but it’s the accompanying visual that has really got people talking, racking up over a million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours after its release. Directed by KLVDR, it features a list of cameos literally as long as your arm of some of the biggest names in British sport, music and popular culture, including Louis Theroux, Jose Mourinho, Black British icons Usain Bolt, Little Simz, and Dave, and Brenda Edwards (mother of late music producer Jamal).
