Lande Hekt is known from her previous band Muncie Girls, but over the last few years she has made a name as a solo artist. Her new album released in September is titled House Without a View on Get Better Records / Prize Sunflower Records, but here we have her awesomely lush track ‘Lola‘ that’s sewn with a enveloping hookiness, off the upcoming Typical Girls Volume 6 compilation on the Emotional Response label out of the USA which is run by Stewart of the band Boyracer.
The series is curated by Camylle of the bands Midnite Snaxxx / Bad Daddies and of Maximum Rock and Roll fame. Each compilation is a true snapshot of women across multiple genres like hardcore, indiepop, post punk, shoegaze, and dreampop of that exact moment. Volume 6 features Naked Roommate, the Linda Lindas, Sweeping Promises, Fake Fruit, Cindy, and tons more. You can also catch Lande on her upcoming UK tour promoting her new album.
