NEWS: Daniel Johnston’s musical legacy available for ‘pay what you want’ until midnight on Bandcamp

In a gesture honoring the artistic legacy of the late singer-songwriter Daniel Johnston his extensive musical collection has been made available for a limited time under a ‘pay what you want’ scheme until midnight 20th December.

All albums are available for the first time in 24-bit lossless audio and have been remastered from the original source tapes. 100% of the profits go to the Daniel Johnston estate, which aims to secure his musical and artistic legacy.

Johnston was a hugely influential figure in alternative music and he left behind a profound impact with his emotionally raw and deeply personal compositions. His works, encompassing lo-fi recordings and heartfelt lyrics, have garnered a dedicated fanbase worldwide.

For those eager to delve into Johnston’s inventive musical world and enjoy the abstract, introspective lyricism that define his musical journey, time is of the essence. The clock is ticking, so head over to Bandcamp and give yourself an early Christmas present.
