Stockholm’s GHLOW – the duo of Emille de Blanche and Nikolay Evdokimov – are sharing ‘Lost My Mind’, the final single to be released ahead of their second full-length album Levitate out on the 8th of March through PNKSLM Recordings. Showcasing a more slow-burning, introspective side to the band than previous singles ‘Big City’ and ‘Golden’, ‘Lost My Mind’ possesses band’s trademark reverb-laden jagged toothed guitars, and an abrasive spitting percussive section and Emille’s domineering vocals that ripple with introspection and conviction, the outro is particularly fantastic crushing riffing shuddering with menace, forging a resilient sound: finding room for experimentation and artful reflection. “The idea was to create a unique atmosphere for every video from ‘Levitate’ so to shoot a livesession for ‘Lost My Mind’ grew organically out of that. As always we like to use the momentum and to challenge ourselves so we did everything guerilla style at an industrial area, diesel generator and all. Had everyone from gymgoers to kids on bikes that passed by during filming which was a nice touch. At one point we almost set off the sprinkler system of the entire premises but luckily we managed to avoid that disaster last minute.” said GHLOW.
