A Badge Of Friendship have come together with Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard to organise a very special show at The Lexington, London on Tuesday 2nd August 2011.

The band will be joined by a very special guest, Scotland’s velvet voiced multi-instrumentalist – Esperi, who will be playing an intimate acoustic set to showcase his new self titled EP, due for release 4th August.

Originally from New York’s Lower East Side, Jeffrey Lewis leads a double-life, as both a comic book writer/artist and a musician (or is that a triple-life?). His band also has a schizophrenic existence, ranging between contemplative folk narratives and distortion-fueled garage rock. Live shows incorporate “low budget videos,” Jeff’s large illustrations displayed to accompany certain songs, such as Jeff’s educational multi-part “History of Communism” or flights of fancy like “The Creeping Brain.”

Tickets are available from WeGotTickets priced at £10.00. They will also be available on the door for £11.00, but these are very limited so it’s best to grab your from WeGotTickets whilst you can (there aren’t many left now!).
