Morecambe is a dive I’m led to believe and originally thought to be ‘the seaside town they forgot to bomb down’, although Morrissey later referenced Borth in Wales as his inspiration. Today’s band are four fresh faced lads who unashamedly come from Morecambe and they’re called The Heartbreaks and will be supporting the great Moz on his upcoming tour. They released their debut album ‘Funtimes’ on 7th May and the title sums up what they try to create. It’s good time indie and reminds me of The Jags, who none of you will ever of heard of, but humour me!
