Ultrasound’s two-night residency at Club Fandango kicks off tonight!

Following last week’s announcement that Ultrasound are reforming and releasing their first new material for over ten years, Club Fandango have now revealed the full line-up of their 2-day residency at the Bull & Gate in July. Including Wojtek Godzisz, Symposium, My Sad Captains and Vinyl Jack supporting Ultrasound over the two nights.

THURSDAY 14TH JULY will see Wojtek Godzisz, founding member of late ’90s teen punk tearaways Symposium, supporting Tiny and the gang. Next up, Two Skies deliver their soaring vocals and slow-paced psychedelia before a Magic Numbers DJ Set closes the show.

On FRIDAY 15TH JULY, support comes from the dreamy kraut-folk quintet My Sad Captains and one of Tom Robinson’s favourite new bands, the Talking Heads-inspired art rockers, Vinyl Jacket.

When Tim Smith of the Cardiacs suffered a heart attack, Ultrasound were asked to reform for a benefit concert to raise money for him, and of course they couldn’t refuse. So, at the start of the new decade, the 5 members of Ultrasound met, and with 4 clicks of the sticks, arrived back home. With this a decision was made to reform and their comeback single has recently been revealed to be ‘Welfare State/Sovereign’, coming out in August on Label Fandango.

These shows offer a sneak preview of material both classic and new from the cult band – and there’s a special price for those dedicated enough to want to attend both nights!
