Kid Rock has never produced a decent album, so no reason to expect his latest to be of any use. It’s his ninth, called ‘Rebel Soul’ and opens with the lyrics “The mule keeps kickin’, the chicken’s in the pan” – eat your heart out Bob Dylan. The album lacks any spark of originality or contemporary leaning, as you’d probably expect, so Bummer Album of the Week it is.
