Cloud Cult are a gang of Minnesotians who have been around for almost twenty years, yet far too few have heard what they do. What they do is classy, beautifully constructed music with a baroque leaning and released this month is ‘Love’, their ninth album. Like the previous eight, it will be largely ignored. That is a crime of contemporary music, as it is another fine set of tunes that deserve lauding on high. I’m lauding on low and requesting that you grant an ear to the track herewith, then go check out the album, then the other eight!
