Off to Sweden today with a gang of five who are collectively known as Shout Out Louds, a band who first came to my notice with their excellent 2007 album ‘Our Ill Wills’. Well it seems nobody outside their homeland has invested in their output and so their new album, ‘Optica’, will probably meet with no further success. That is a travesty, for these guys play delightful indie pop that sounds oh so much like a sweetened up Cure, which means it’s wondrous.
